Our Robot

The very first step to building a robot is design. Design is one of the most important components of FTC. The design portion of FTC is when we design our robot in CAD so that we know what we are making.

Meet our Robot: The Octobot

Design Features:

  • Intricate intake design that sweeps the pixel in a  dustpan manner into the square platform

 

  • Has a battery mount that enables the battery to be stored comfortably on the robot for easy removal.

 

  • Small and compact

 

  • Plywood mounted electronics to reduce weight.

 

  • Can easily maneuver through trusses

 

  • Hub mount is easily accessible
